The Story Behind Pink Drip

Pink Drip came out of the Canadian craft scene, originally bred by Gastown Genetics, the Vancouver legacy crew behind some of BC’s most flavour-forward cultivars. The cross pairs old-school Skunk with Animal Mints, a move that bridges two eras of cannabis breeding. Skunk brings that unmistakable pungent backbone that defined the 90s, while Animal Mints layers in modern dessert genetics: minty cookies, creamy sweetness, and a sedating body lean. Gastown’s goal was a strain that smelled like candy but hit like a classic, and the result speaks for itself.

The name comes from the way the trichomes drip off the calyxes in late flower, giving the buds a frosted, almost melted appearance with pink and purple hues bleeding through. The Nose
