The Story Behind Z x Zoap

Zoap was the strain of 2022. Bred by Guero of DEO Farms out of Deep East Oakland, Zoap crossed Pink Guava with a Rainbow Sherbet backcross and immediately became one of the most sought-after cultivars in California. It won the Zalympix championship that year, and the hype was earned. The creamy, soapy terp profile was unlike anything else on the market, smooth and clean where most strains were loud and gassy.

Malibu Farmerz saw the opportunity to bring Zoap’s cream back into The Original Z’s candy. The Z side needs no introduction: Terp Hogz and 3rd Gen Family’s 38-award masterpiece that launched every candy-terp strain on the market. By crossing these two, Malibu created a strain that layers Z’s fruit-forward sweetness over Zoap’s sherbet-soap smoothness. The indica lean from the Rainbow Sherbet and Pink Guava genetics adds body weight that pure Z crosses sometimes lack. The Nose
