The Story Behind Cherry Poppers

Cherry Poppers is the Thai-grown version of a cut that originated with Super Dope, the brand that built a reputation on cherry-forward phenotypes. Their original Cherry Popperz was a phenotype hunt out of Lemon Cherry Gelato, crossed deeper with Fear of Boof and Hi Tech to amplify the sugary cherry candy notes without losing the Gelato structure. Super Dope spent the hunt looking for the loudest, sweetest cherry expression possible, and this is what came out the other side.

The genetics travelled, and Thai growers picked up the line for local cultivation. What you get here is a Thai expression of those same loud-cherry traits, with the lighter cerebral edge that Thai climate and indoor cultivation tend to bring out. The cherry-on-citrus profile stays intact, the high stays bright and functional, and the bag appeal is on par with the West Coast original.

The Nose
