Blue Slushie by Exotiks 916 X Ronin wraps blue-raspberry candy around vanilla cookie dough and gas, then creeps from a sociable lift into a heavy body high.

Blue Slushie by Exotiks 916 X Ronin

Blue Slushie by Exotiks 916 X Ronin is an indica-leaning hybrid (35/65) born from Blue Cookie x Georgia Pie, the cross Raw Genetics release under this name. Published figures put it at 20-26% THC, and this collab jar from Exotiks 916 and Ronin wraps blue-raspberry candy around vanilla cookie dough and a thread of gas, with a balanced high that sinks further into the body the longer you stay with it. Best for night.

Original Cali Pack, a 7g jar from the Exotiks 916 and Ronin collaboration.

The Story Behind Blue Slushie

The name needs sorting out first, because it trips people up. Blue Slushie is not Blue Slush, a name at least three other cultivars share, Seven Leaves’ and Fig Farms’ among them. Under the exact name Blue Slushie there is one breeder on record, Raw Genetics, who cross their Blue Cookie with Georgia Pie and release it as feminized seed. They are firm about that first parent: Blue Cookie, in their words, is an extremely rare pheno of GSC that often gets mistaken for a Blueberry cross, and it is not one. Georgia Pie, the other half, is Gelatti crossed with Kush Mints, the same pie that sits behind Z x Z Pie by Malibu. As a result, the family tree runs back to GSC, Kush Mints, Gelatti and OG Kush, which is why the dessert side of this cross comes with a gas backbone. Some menus list the same cross as Blueberry Slushie.

Neither name on the jar bred the plant. Exotiks 916 is a small-batch grower out of Sacramento (916 is the city’s area code), and The Highest Critic reviewed their run of Seed Junky’s Rainbow Cookies in May 2026. Ronin is Ronin Seeds, the breeders behind Toad Venom. What Ronin’s part was on this run has not been published, and nothing from either house names the breeder, so we file this jar under the only Blue Slushie with a breeder behind it and keep the claims modest. In short, the profile below comes from Raw Genetics’ own notes, the databases and US growers of the same cross, not from a lab sheet for this jar.

The Nose

Berry gets there first, and it is the candy kind: sweet, a little sour, closer to a blue-raspberry slush than to fruit off the bush. That berry top note sits on a bakery base, the vanilla cream and raw cookie dough Raw Genetics breed this line for, so the whole thing reads as dessert before it reads as fruit. Behind the sugar runs a gassy streak, with a cool hint of mint and a squeeze of citrus over the top. Underneath it all lies a warm, earthy dough smell. That soft, musky floor most likely belongs to Myrcene, the faint pepper behind the gas to Caryophyllene, and the bright lift on top to Limonene. None of the three comes from a lab panel on this jar, though: it is the ranking growers and databases report for the cross.

The Smoke

Raw Genetics promise that the flavour mirrors the aroma, and the reports on the cross bear that out. The draw is creamy and dessert-like, vanilla and cookie dough with candy berry riding on top. Underneath runs the gas, the undertone the breeder cheerfully calls putrid, along with a peppery kick. On top of that, mint and a sour citrus edge, two notes the databases and US growers both report, keep the sweetness in check. Meanwhile the earthy dough keeps everything grounded, fitting for a cut with OG Kush this far back in its tree.

The High

The head goes first, and quickly. A euphoric, happy lift arrives within a few pulls, uplifting rather than racy, and in company it turns properly sociable, with enough clarity to stay focused on a conversation. Some smokers get giggly at this stage. The body side, however, creeps, and AllBud calls it a creeper for good reason. A relaxed warmth settles into the shoulders, a slow calming weight follows, and the body high keeps building for as long as you keep smoking. Keep it to one joint and you stay loose and social; push into a full session and it turns heavy, and a few US reviewers were ready for bed by the end. Raw Genetics promise straight-up unwinding, and SeedFinder’s verdict, no daytime strain, sums it up. Start it at dinner, not at lunch.

Who Should Try Blue Slushie by Exotiks 916?

Blue Slushie by Exotiks 916 is for the evening smoker who wants dessert with some bite to it. At 20-26% THC on published figures it carries real weight, and because the body side creeps, the first pull deserves fifteen minutes before the second. Anxiety risk sits in the middle: a few smokers of the cross report an anxious or dizzy moment on the way up, so if racing thoughts are your thing, keep the first session short and the company familiar. Once it settles, it is the sort of high people reach for after a long day, for stress, chronic pain and low mood, and a fuller session leans heavy enough to help on nights when insomnia keeps you up. It also wakes a lazy appetite, so keep something sweet nearby. Seasoned heads will enjoy watching it move from social to sunk over a single joint.
