The White Cherry Infused Pre-Roll is a nightcap with a fruit bowl on top. Two grams of White Cherry, sweet cherry over a creamy, gassy base, rolled with half a gram of Swollest Heads fresh frozen, 90 micron, which brings ripe guava and a softer start. It opens kind and finishes in bed.

Why White Cherry Gets the Swollest Heads

White Cherry is usually given as Cherry OG crossed with The White, an OG cut famous for the sheer amount of frost it carries. The lineage is not fully settled, and Weedmaps lists a rival version, but that is the one most growers stand behind. Smokers describe a strong body buzz with a dreamy, slightly giggly euphoria, and our own notes land in the same place: 24 to 28% THC, a body-first high, and a sleepiness rating at the top of our scale. On its own it is already an evening strain.

Swollest Heads is a different kind of plant altogether. It comes from Little Lake Valley Seed Co. in Mendocino, a breeder whose stated focus is resin production and solventless hash, and the name leaves little doubt about what it was selected for. The mother is Papaya Bx1 (Strawberry Guava x Papaya) and the father a Lychee line built from Sour Diesel, Zkittlez and Feijoa, so the family tree is full of fruit, exactly the kind of character a fresh frozen wash holds on to. We put it into White Cherry for the start of the smoke rather than the end: it gives the first ten minutes a gentle lift before the cherry side takes over.

The Nose

Cherry leads, sweet the way cherry syrup is sweet, resting on something soft and creamy with a low gassy note that gives away the OG in the family. The hash then brings the fruit bowl: ripe guava and a broader tropical sweetness that sits right on top of the cherry. Underneath it all, faint and floral, is the Linalool, which suits a joint meant for the last hour of the day, while the warm pepper beneath the fruit is Caryophyllene.

The Smoke

Round and creamy from the first draw. The guava side of the hash shows up in the opening pulls, almost juicy, with a bright edge of Limonene to it. After that the cherry and cream of the flower take over for the rest of the joint, closing on a faint earthiness from the Myrcene. It tastes best taken slowly, and it will go out if you ignore it for too long, so keep it moving between two people rather than parking it in the ashtray.

The High

The opening belongs to the Swollest Heads: euphoric and gently uplifting, a warm mood more than a rush. Then White Cherry does what it is known for. A calming wave rolls in, the shoulders drop, a slow body high spreads from the chest down through the legs, and you end up deeply relaxed. Most people are yawning inside the hour, and the ones who are not tend to get hungry, so keep a snack within reach. Light it once the day’s jobs are done, never before.
