Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket
Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket rolls the Black Cherry Punch x Orange Cookies cut in hash: ripe cherry dipped in citrus, then a smooth, happy, clear-headed lift.
Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket
Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket is a Sativa-Leaning Hybrid (60/40) born from Black Cherry Punch x Orange Cookies. Coming in at 22-26% THC in the flower before the hash coat goes on, this infused joint by Smash Rocket tastes like ripe cherries dipped in citrus and lifts you into a smooth, happy, clear-headed buzz. Best for morning / day.
Hash-infused preroll made in Thailand by Smash Rocket, the brand once called Hash Rocket.
The Story Behind Cherry Blast
Cherry Blast comes from Cheers Cannabis, a licensed producer in Varennes, Quebec, which crossed Black Cherry Punch with Orange Cookies and sells the result as a sativa-dominant hybrid. Black Cherry Punch brings the dark cherry and a sweet, punchy fruit side; Orange Cookies, an Orange Juice x Girl Scout Cookies cross, adds the citrus and a soft cookie-dough sweetness. The producer sums it up as an explosion of fruity, sweet and spicy notes, ripe cherries dipped in citrus with a whisper of pepper, and the smokers who reviewed it in Canada this year mostly called it a light, happy daytime sativa.
Smash Rocket takes the flower sold under that name and rolls it with a coat of hash in Thailand, and the tube reads Sativa, which matches the Cheers cut. The brand publishes nothing about where its flower is grown, though, so this page describes the cultivar as it is documented; the THC range comes from Canadian lot labels, not from a test of this batch. What the hash coat changes is easy to feel: Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket burns slower and fatter than a plain preroll, and it hits harder than the flower would on its own.
The Nose
Pop the cap and the cherry is right there, dark and ripe rather than cough-syrup sharp. It is sweet and fruity, with a sour orange citrus edge from the Orange Cookies side, and in the middle a soft creamy, candy note that some smokers compare to cookie dough. Then comes a light peppery tickle and an earthy floor, which the hash deepens. The bright citrus is Limonene, the lead terpene on the one lot label we found, with Myrcene underneath, a touch of floral Linalool, and Caryophyllene behind that pepper.
The Smoke
The hash makes the smoke thick and slow from the first pull. The cherry and citrus lead the inhale, juicy and light, then the creamy candy side settles on the tongue as you exhale. A little peppery spice closes each pull. Further down the joint the hash takes over more of the taste, so the back half reads toastier and more earthy than the front. Small pulls keep the fruit in front the longest.
The High
This one starts in the head. A happy, uplifting lift arrives quickly, the kind reviewers call smooth and “not speedy”, and the mind stays clear: focused and a little creative, with enough energetic push to keep a day moving. Meanwhile, stress seems to drain out of the shoulders, a calming side that keeps the lift from tipping into jitters. As it settles, a gentle euphoric glow and a light, relaxed body take over, never heavy. On top of that, the hash coat makes the whole ride stronger and longer than the flower alone, so a mild daytime cultivar becomes a proper session.

Who Should Try Cherry Blast by Smash Rocket?
This is a daytime joint for anyone who wants their mood lifted without losing the plot. If stress, a low mood or an appetite that has gone quiet are wearing you down, the bright, happy start is the whole point, and the low anxiety risk makes it an easy pick for people who usually steer clear of racy sativas. Even so, the hash coat pushes it past the flower’s 22-26% THC, so newer smokers should take a few pulls, wait fifteen minutes and save the rest for later. Sleepiness is low: keep it for the hours when you still have plans.
