The Story Behind Gorilla Zkittlez

Gorilla Zkittlez was originally crafted by Barney’s Farm, the legendary Amsterdam-based seed company with multiple Cannabis Cup wins and roots going back to the coffee shop era. The concept was ambitious: merge two of the most dominant strains of the modern era into one hybrid. On one side, Original Glue (GG4), the accidental cross of Chem’s Sister, Sour Dubb, and Chocolate Diesel that took the industry by storm with its insane resin production and 30%+ THC potential. On the other, Zkittlez, the candy-flavoured indica that won Best Indica at the 2016 Emerald Cup and changed the game for flavour-forward breeding.

GG4 brings structure, potency, and that signature gluey resin that sticks scissors together during trimming. Zkittlez contributes the candy terps, the fruity complexity, and the chill euphoria. The combination works because each parent fills in what the other lacks: GG4’s sometimes harsh, fuel-heavy smoke gets sweetened by the Zkittlez terps, while Zkittlez’s sometimes mild potency gets amplified by the Glue genetics.

The Nose
