The Story Behind Hawaiian Rain

Hawaiian Rain came out of a crossbreeding project by Culta, cultivated indoors in Maryland. The concept was to combine two of the most talked-about genetics of the moment: London Pound Mints and Jealousy, both carrying heavy Cookies lineage. London Pound Mints descends from London Pound Cake, known for its grape-candy aroma and heavy body effects. Jealousy, bred by Seed Junky Genetics, crosses Gelato 41 with Sherb Bx1 and brings intense terp production with a balanced high.

The name evokes something tropical and refreshing, which fits the profile. Hawaiian Rain took the best from both parents: the creamy sweetness of London Pound Mints and the complex, jealousy-inducing terps from its other half. The result is a strain that’s become popular with the Cookies brand and has earned a reputation for producing dense, trichome-heavy buds with a flavour profile that’s distinctly its own.

The Nose
