Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG lays lemon-lime citrus and a touch of candy over OG gas and pepper, then sinks into a heavy, euphoric body stone.

Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG

Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG is an indica-leaning hybrid (35/65) born from Tea Time, Dark Rainbow and Face Off OG. Nobody has published the recipe for this three-way, but its parents’ figures put it around 22-28% THC. Expect lemon-lime citrus and a touch of candy over OG gas, earth and pepper. Then comes a heavy, euphoric body stone that can tip into sleep. Best for night.

The Story Behind Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG

All this cross has to go on is its name. No breeder page, seed listing, database entry or review exists for it, even under pairings like Tea Time x Gas Tax. The maker of the cross is unknown. Nobody has written down how the three parents went together either, or which one came in last. The parents themselves, though, are well documented.

Tea Time is the Wizard Trees cross of Zkittlez and RS11, a candy, floral, clear-headed daytime smoke. Dark Rainbow comes from Archive Seed Bank, which crossed GMO with Rainbow Belts. Archive describes it as GMO chem and gas sweetened by a lime-candy Z note. Face Off OG, finally, was plant number 4 out of a batch of late-1990s Southern California OG Kush seeds. Its selector promised a “skull crushing high”.

Half of this cross will sound familiar. Dark Rainbow with Face Off OG is exactly the pairing Archive sells as Gas Tax, built for “mind numbing potency”. Still, nothing says this jar’s grower used Gas Tax itself. One more caveat: the jar says Dark Rainbows, and Archive also makes a Dark Rainbows 2.0 on different parents. We read the original, the cut inside Gas Tax. If the 2.0 is the parent, expect less candy and more gas. We weight the three equally, so the profile here is read from the parents. The THC range, likewise, is an estimate rather than a lab figure.

The Nose

Each parent should leave a fingerprint here. Citrus is the one note all three share, so expect lemon and lime at the top. Right behind it comes the OG and GMO side, a gassy, faintly chemical push over a damp, earthy base. Then a little candy softens things, from Tea Time and from the lime-candy streak in Dark Rainbow. On top of that, Dark Rainbow adds a peppery bite and the funky edge Archive calls “pure chem skunky-ness”. That pepper points to Caryophyllene, which runs through all three parents, as does the musky Myrcene underneath. Limonene, meanwhile, keeps the lime awake. Nobody has measured any of it on this jar.

The Smoke

Expect the fuel to take the lead on the tongue. The gassy OG weight should own the inhale, with a peppery tickle at the back of the throat. The lime comes back on the exhale, citrus first and then a quick flash of candy. After that, an earthy, funky finish settles in. Two of the three parents run on fuel, so do not expect it to taste like Tea Time alone. No smoke report exists for this exact three-way, so treat all of this as a forecast from the parents. Slow, short pulls are the way in.

The High

The lighter side of the family opens the show. A euphoric, uplifting rush comes first, and Dark Rainbow’s track record says it can turn giggly before it gets serious. Then the heavier side climbs in. A tingly warmth spreads through the body, a trait that comes down from Face Off OG. The limbs go loose and relaxed, and before long it turns properly heavy. Two of the three parents end in sleep, so expect the sofa first and bed soon after. Tea Time may be the family’s daytime member, but here the other two outvote it.

Who Should Try Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG?

Late evenings are where Tea Time x Dark Rainbows x Face Off OG belongs. It suits smokers who already like OG weight with some citrus on top. Sleepless nights, chronic pain and stubborn stress or low mood are where a profile like this earns its place. It is also worth a look when the appetite has gone missing, and some reach for this family for the eye pressure of glaucoma. Face Off OG’s selector wrote that it was “not intended for the lightweights”, and that warning carries over. Intensity sits at four out of five and the anxiety risk is medium. A few Face Off OG smokers even report paranoia. So go slowly: one small pull, then a full fifteen minutes before the next. Sleepiness is medium, so it may not put you to sleep by itself, yet late at night it points firmly toward bed.
