Cherry Zoap
Cherry Zoap Strain
The Cherry Zoap strain takes one of the strangest flavours of recent years, Zoap’s clean floral soap, and lays ripe cherry right over it. A balanced hybrid (50/50) from Cherry Garcia x Zoap, it is reported anywhere from 26 to 30% THC, which puts it among the stronger fruit strains around, and it opens with a giggly, sociable rush before a warm, easy body calm. Good from the afternoon on.

The Cherry Zoap Strain Story
Start with Zoap. Deo Farms in Oakland built it from Rainbow Sherbet and Pink Guava, and its clean, floral finish was so unusual that the name had to describe it: it smells like soap, in a good way. The Cherry Zoap strain puts Cherry Garcia over that plant, a cherry line whose version here traces back to Black Cherry Soda and Mandarin Sunset. The best documented cross comes from Growers Choice, who also sell it as an autoflower, although other growers have made their own Cherry Garcia x Zoap along the way.
In practice the cherry changes the balance. Straight Zoap leans perfumed, while here the fruit leads and the soap only arrives at the end of each breath. It is also a stronger plant than either parent’s reputation suggests, with reported test results that often land around the 30% mark.
The Nose
Cherry leads, the ripe, dark end of the fruit rather than candy-shop red, backed by a layer of berry and a sweet, sugary glaze. The Zoap half sits behind it as that famous clean note, floral and a little like expensive soap, with a sliver of citrus keeping it bright. Give the bud a squeeze and a creamy softness comes through, grounded by a light earthy base. Myrcene accounts for the roundness, Limonene for the brightness and Caryophyllene for the faint spice on the exhale.
The High
Cherry Zoap is a social strain before it is anything else. It comes on euphoric and quickly giggly, the kind of opening that turns a quiet table into a loud one, with a happy, uplifting mood holding through the first hour. The body joins later as a warm, relaxed ease that takes the edge off without taking the evening away. Anxiety risk reads low, but the strength is real: with test results reported near 30%, a lighter smoker should take the first hit small and wait. Stress and a flat mood are what people most often mention it for. A rare strong strain that stays friendly the whole way through.
