Original Zkittlez Infused Pre-Roll

The Original Zkittlez Infused Pre-Roll is two grams of Zkittlez flower wrapped around half a gram of RS11 fresh frozen hash, rolled by hand in our Koh Samui shop. The flower brings the candy, the hash brings the weight, and together they turn a pleasant evening joint into something that comfortably outlasts a sunset. Best shared.

Why We Roll This One

Original Zkittlez on its own is a gentle strain. It comes off Grape Ape crossed with Grapefruit, it sits around 22 to 26% THC, and it tastes like a handful of fruit chews. Lovely to smoke, but it will not floor anybody. That is exactly why it makes a good base for infusion: there is room to build on top of it without the whole thing turning into a wall.

The half gram going in is RS11 fresh frozen. Fresh frozen means the plant went into the freezer straight off the cut rather than hanging to dry, so the terpenes never got a chance to evaporate on a drying rack. Washed cold, it keeps the fruit and the gas that a dried, pressed hash tends to lose. RS11 itself is Pink Guava crossed with OZK, one of the loudest modern cuts we work with, and it lands considerably harder than the flower it rides on. We roll these in small batches, because that is the only honest way to do it: the hash goes in fresh and the joint gets smoked within the week.

The Nose

Fruit first. You get the candy and berry off the Zkittlez before you even spark it, sweet the way a bag of sweets is sweet rather than anything floral. Underneath sits the hash, and that is a different smell entirely: tropical and slightly gassy, the kind of sharpness only a cold wash gives you. Soft fruit over clean gas, two things pulling in opposite directions, which is the Limonene and the Caryophyllene working against each other in the best way.

The Smoke

It burns slowly, and that is the first thing regular joint smokers notice. Hash does that: the coat holds the cherry back and stretches two grams into something you put down and pick up again. The smoke is thick and faintly oily, coating rather than scratching. Early pulls taste mostly of flower, sweet and light. By halfway the hash has taken over and the whole thing goes richer and rounder, with the Humulene leaving a dry herbal edge at the back of the throat. Take it slower than you think you need to.

The High

The first few minutes are pure Zkittlez: euphoric, chatty, lighter than the gram count suggests. Then the hash catches up. Somewhere around ten minutes in it settles into your shoulders and you find yourself noticeably more relaxed than you planned to be, still happy, just markedly less interested in standing up. It stays calming rather than sedating, so it will not put you straight to sleep, and it runs long. Two and a half grams of combined material is a lot for one person, which is exactly why we roll it as something to pass around.

Who Should Try the Original Zkittlez Infused Pre-Roll?

If you already buy Original Zkittlez by the gram and want to know what it does with a hash coat on it, this is the direct answer. It also makes a sensible first infused joint, because the base flower is mild enough that the hash does the lifting instead of compounding something already strong.
