Bacio Z x Gas Tax Pheno 1
Bacio Z x Gas Tax Pheno 1 is an indica-leaning hybrid (35/65) born from Bacio Z x Gas Tax, where dessert candy meets old-school fuel. On its parents’ numbers it should land around 22-28% THC. Expect gas and sour lemon over sweet berry fruit, a happy lift, then a heavy body high. Best for night.
Thai Weed grown in Thailand. Its sister from the same cross is Pheno 2.
The Story Behind Bacio Z x Gas Tax
The name on the jar is the whole pedigree we have. Search for Bacio Z x Gas Tax, or Bacio Z alone, and nothing comes back. There is no breeder release, no seed listing, no database page, not even a review. So we decoded the name the usual Z-family way. Bacio points to Bacio Gelato, the name Gelato 41 goes by, a gassy, dessert-sweet cut from Sherbinskis. Z is the usual shorthand for Zkittlez, the candy-fruit classic. That reading is ours, not a confirmed pedigree. The pairing does exist under other names, Zacio and Zoy among them. Whether Bacio Z is one of those or the grower’s own cross, though, is not known.
Gas Tax is easier to place. We read it as Archive Seed Bank’s cross of Face Off OG and its own Dark Rainbow number 11, the Gas Tax sold as seed. Face Off OG is itself the number 4 plant picked from late-1990s Southern California OG Kush seeds. Archive calls Gas Tax old school, with “mind numbing potency” and a “skunky chem fruit profile”.
Put the two halves together and they mostly agree. Gas leads both Bacio Gelato and Gas Tax. Citrus and fruit run through all three, Zkittlez included, and every one of them finishes in the body. Because no breeder notes or lab results exist for this cross, the profile here is read from the parents. The THC range is an estimate too, not a lab figure. This is Pheno 1, one of two phenotypes of the cross; we sell it side by side with Pheno 2. Nothing documents a difference between the two yet, so they share the profile below.
The Nose
If the parents hold true, fuel gets there first. Bacio Gelato and Gas Tax both lead with it, so expect a sharp gassy note up front. Cutting through it comes a sour, lemony citrus, the note that runs through Gas Tax. Underneath, the Bacio Z half sweetens the picture: sweet, candied fruit, a round fruity middle and a darker berry note. Something earthy holds the floor, a trait Bacio Gelato and Gas Tax share. The pepper hiding in the fuel would come from Caryophyllene, the one terpene all three ancestors carry. Meanwhile Limonene keeps the lemon bright and Myrcene adds a musky depth. A little Linalool from the dessert side softens the edges. No lab has profiled the terpenes of this cross, so read that list as the family’s, not the jar’s.
The Smoke
Nobody has reviewed the smoke of this exact cross either, so the parents speak here too. Expect the gassy side to own the inhale, heavy on the tongue, with a little pepper at the back. Then the exhale turns. Sweetness from the Bacio Z half comes through, fruity and berry-led. At the same time, the lemony citrus keeps it from going sugary. As the joint burns down, expect the earthy base to grow. With this much potency on both sides of the family, small pulls tell you more than big ones.
The High
The friendly part comes first. A euphoric lift lands early, and the mood turns happy and loose. It does not stay up there long, though. Soon the shoulders drop, a warm body high spreads down into the legs, and you sink into something properly relaxed. Later it turns heavy, the Gas Tax side making good on that “mind numbing” promise. How far it goes is where the sources split: Bacio Gelato and Dark Rainbow lean toward couch-lock, while Gas Tax and Zacio reports stop just short. Finally, expect to get hungry, a trait Zkittlez and Dark Rainbow both pass down. It smells like dessert and finishes like a nightcap, so keep a snack within reach.

Who Should Try Bacio Z x Gas Tax Pheno 1?
Bacio Z x Gas Tax Pheno 1 is an evening jar for smokers who already know their limits. It suits anyone who loves a candy nose but wants the night to end on the sofa. People reach for this kind of profile when stress, low mood or chronic pain will not let go. It also fits nights when sleep keeps slipping away, or when the appetite needs a push. Some use it to quiet an anxious mind, but the dose matters here. This is a four out of five on our intensity scale, and the anxiety risk is medium. Start with one small pull and give it fifteen minutes. Sleepiness is medium too: it will not knock you out on its own, but bed becomes a very short walk.
