The Story Behind Blue Zushi

Blue Zushi was originally created by TenCo, a California breeder with a deep love for Zkittlez genetics, around 2019. The idea was straightforward: take the candy-sweet, fruity terpene profile of Zkittlez and cross it with the raw potency and creamy gas of Kush Mints. What came out was a strain that combined the best of both worlds in a way that felt new. The Zkittlez side delivers the sweetness and colour, while Kush Mints pushes THC levels into the high twenties and adds that unmistakable minty, gassy backbone.

Blue Zushi gained traction quickly on the exotic market. The buds have a visual appeal that is hard to ignore, dense and purple with a thick resin coat, and the flavour profile reads like dessert. As with many scene cuts, the exact pheno selection details have not been fully documented. But the results speak for themselves: Blue Zushi became one of the most sought-after exotic strains in California and has since spread to grows around the world, including here in Thailand.

The Nose
