The Story Behind King Juice

King Juice comes from Green House Seeds, one of the oldest and most decorated seed banks in the world. Founded by Arjan Roskam in Amsterdam, Green House has been stacking Cannabis Cup trophies since the early 90s. This cross pairs Mimosa, the Symbiotic Genetics sensation that brought candy-orange juice aromatics into the mainstream, with Kings Kush, one of Arjan’s personal favourites, an OG Kush x Grape cross known for deep earthy kush flavour and structural density.

The idea was simple: take Mimosa’s electric citrus terp profile and give it a kush backbone. The resulting phenotype tested at 26.87% THC in-house and won 3rd prize at Homegrown Cup 2021 and 3rd at Spannabis Cup 2022. The plants grow with a distinctive cone-shaped cola structure, and most phenotypes develop purple and red hues toward the end of flowering.

The Nose

Straight orange juice. That’s the first thing that hits you: fresh-squeezed citrus with a sweet, almost candied brightness. The Mimosa genetics announce themselves immediately. Then, as you handle the bud, the Kings Kush side reveals itself through an earthy, slightly floral depth that grounds the citrus. On the grind, tropical fruit notes emerge, somewhere between mango and passionfruit. The Limonene content here is aggressive, and Humulene adds a dry, hoppy edge underneath.
