Rainbow Zoap Infused Pre-Roll
The Rainbow Zoap Infused Pre-Roll is a study in contrast: candy and gas from the flower underneath, orange soda from the hash on top. Two grams of Rainbow Zoap are rolled with half a gram of fresh frozen from a Fanta x Forbidden Fruit cross, 120 micron, and the two pull in opposite directions until the flower wins.

Why This Pairing Works
Rainbow Zoap does not need help being heavy. It crosses Rainbow Sherbet 11 with Zoap, runs 24 to 28% THC, and its reputation rests on a stoney body high that arrives quickly and stays. Adding more weight on top of that would only give you an expensive sedative. What the flower lacks is a bright first half, so that is what we went looking for.
We found it in a cross of two citrus lines. Fanta is less a single strain than a family of orange-soda phenotypes, all citrus-forward and sativa-leaning, while Forbidden Fruit is the Cherry Pie x Tangie cross known for grapefruit and dark fruit. Very little has been written about this exact cross, so we go by its parents and by our own noses, and both say the same thing: loud citrus and a sociable lift. As a result the roll opens on the hash and closes on the flower. The fresh frozen was collected on the 120 micron screen, the number being the size of the mesh that caught the resin heads.
The Nose
Orange soda, of all things, is what reaches you first, because the hash is that loud: fizzy orange peel and sharp pink grapefruit, with a little cream on the edge. Under the citrus sits the flower, sugary candy with a streak of gas running through it and a floral note drifting over the top. The citrus belongs to the Limonene, which both halves of this roll share. On top of that, a fresh, almost piney flicker points to Terpinolene, most likely from the Fanta side.
The Smoke
Expect the citrus to lead for the first third, sharper on the tongue than on the nose: orange peel and grapefruit pith, a bit of sparkle to it. After that the flower takes the joint back, and the flavour turns to candy and fuel with a peppery tail from the Caryophyllene. Meanwhile the Myrcene shows itself as a musky heaviness on the exhale. It is a thick smoke, so two short pulls and pass it on works far better than one long one.
The High
Talkative first. The opening is euphoric and uplifting, bright and chatty, with everyone more sociable than they were ten minutes earlier. That is the Fanta side, and it is the part of this roll that Rainbow Zoap alone does not give you. Then the flower reclaims it. Half an hour in, the body goes relaxed, then heavy, and the stoney weight Rainbow Zoap is known for settles in for a good couple of hours. Have the conversation early, because by the second half most people would rather listen.

Who Should Try the Rainbow Zoap Infused Pre-Roll?
People who love Rainbow Zoap but find a plain joint of it puts them down too fast. If you know Rainbow Zoap by the gram, the Rainbow Zoap Infused Pre-Roll gives you a brighter, chattier first half and more weight in the second. The citrus start also makes it a better choice for company than for a solo smoke, and a decent pick for the kind of evening when your mood needs lifting before your body needs rest. The anxiety risk is medium, and the quick euphoric start can feel racy if you are prone to that, so keep the first pulls small and the room calm. Nobody should drive after it.
