The Story Behind RS11

RS11, short for Rainbow Sherbet 11, came out of a collaboration between DEO Farms in Oakland and Wizard Trees in Los Angeles. Rob from DEO crossed his OZ Kush F2 selection, named Pink Guava, with Sunset Sherbet to create the Rainbow Sherbet line. From roughly 120 seeds, both teams grew the same phenos and selected their favourites. Phenotype 11 and 54 stood out above the rest. Doja Pak also played a role in bringing RS11 to market, and by 2022, the strain had taken over dispensary menus across California.

The hype was real. RS11 earned a Leafly Strain of the Year runner-up nod in 2023. Pink Guava contributes that tropical, guava-forward sweetness while OZK (itself a Zkittlez and OG cross) anchors the gas and the potency. On top of that, the Sunset Sherbet influence adds creamy depth to the terpene profile. The result is a strain that tastes like candy but hits like a heavyweight.

The Nose

This one announces itself the moment you crack the jar. A rush of sweet, tropical fruit hits first, somewhere between ripe guava and candied mango. Then the candy layer shows up, sugary and almost artificial in how loud it is.
