Sherbert by Brickz Farm is 45 micron fresh frozen hash from Sunset Sherbet, the cross behind Gelato. Sweet citrus and berry, then a tingly, relaxed high.

Sherbert by Brickz Farm

Sherbert by Brickz Farm is fresh frozen hash washed from Sherbert, the short name of Sunset Sherbet, an indica-dominant strain (15/85) born from Girl Scout Cookies x Pink Panties. The flower is listed at 22-26% THC, and this 45 micron cut carries its sweet citrus and berry into a tingly, balanced high. Best for day / night.

Fresh Frozen Hash made in Thailand by Brickz Farm. 45 micron, sold as full melt.

The Story Behind Sunset Sherbet

Sunset Sherbet was bred by Mr. Sherbinski, founder of Sherbinskis, in the San Francisco Bay Area. By his own account in a 2017 interview, it started as an accident around 2014: a Pink Panties male pollinated the Girl Scout Cookies he was growing at his grandmother’s house. Pink Panties is usually traced to a Burmese landrace crossed with a Florida Kush plant, and the seedling from that unplanned cross went on to anchor a whole family. Crossed with the Thin Mint cut of Girl Scout Cookies, it became Gelato, and the brand’s own site still gives Gelato’s lineage as Sunset Sherbert x Thin Mint Cookies. The name turns up spelt four ways, Sunset Sherbet, Sunset Sherbert, Sherbet and Sherbert, and the strain databases file them all under the same plant.

Brickz Farm, the Thai maker here, has no public footprint that we could find, and nothing published says which Sherbert cut it grew or washed. The identity on this page therefore rests on the name, which the databases tie to Sunset Sherbet and to nothing else. What the product does tell you is how it was made. Fresh frozen means the flower was frozen at harvest and washed in ice water with the resin heads still intact. The 45 micron bag catches the smaller heads of that wash, a grade usually rated below the 73 to 120 micron range, because a fine screen also lets more plant matter through. When a strain’s small heads are clean enough, though, the 45 can come out full of flavour, with a heavier, more traditional hash body. Full melt is the claim that this one got there: the top of the six-star scale, hash that liquefies under heat and leaves nothing behind.

The Nose

Sweet first, and sweet the way a sorbet is rather than a chocolate bar. Bright citrus sits right on top, over a sweet, fruit-syrup middle. Then the berry side comes through, with a touch of tropical fruit and a sugary candy edge that explains the sherbet name. It is not all dessert, though. Reviewers keep finding damp earth and a little pepper under the fruit, and the pepper is Caryophyllene, the strain’s leading terpene. Limonene keeps the citrus lit, while Myrcene adds a soft, musky weight at the base. Small heads like these also tend to bring a denser, more traditional hash note behind the fruit than the big top grades do.

The Smoke

Full melt should prove itself the moment it meets heat, and the test is simple: it should puddle and disappear rather than bubble and char. Kept cool, the vapour opens on citrus and sweet fruit, light and quick on the tongue, before the berry fills out the exhale. The candy note is brightest in the first draws. As you go, the earthy, peppery base takes more of the room, which gives this small-head grade more body than its fruity nose suggests. The flower is known for one of the smoother exhales around, and on a bowl or in a joint the hash keeps some of that, though high heat takes the finer citrus away first.

The High

It starts in a good mood. Happy and euphoric arrive together, with an uplifting edge that keeps conversation easy. Then comes the part people remember this strain for: a tingly wave across the skin a few minutes in. After it, the body settles into a loose, relaxed calm while the mind stays quiet and clear. Listed potency for the flower varies widely from one source to the next, so treat a concentrate of it as the top of that range rather than the bottom. Late in the evening, a larger piece leans toward the sofa.

Who Should Try Sherbert by Brickz Farm?

Fruit-first hash smokers, and anyone who finds most fresh frozen too heavy on fuel. This profile is about sweetness and an easy mood, with a body calm that does not take the evening away unless you let it. The low anxiety risk makes it forgiving on the head, and it suits people who use cannabis to unwind from stress and tension or to lift a low mood. Two honest caveats, though. A 45 micron grade is a small-head cut, so judge it by how it melts rather than by the label. And full melt or not, this is concentrated resin: start with a piece smaller than a grain of rice and give it ten minutes.
