The strain emerged from a pheno hunt through dozens of Pineapple Pez x Kush Mints crosses, with pheno 6, nicknamed “La Reina” (The Queen), being selected as the winner.

Pineapple Pez, the mother, carries that unmistakable tropical pineapple sweetness that makes the Pez candy comparison genuinely accurate. Kush Mints, the father, is one of the most sought-after breeding males in modern cannabis, contributing minty freshness, gassy undertones, and the structured bud density that growers demand.
