The Story Behind Verzace

Credit where it belongs: Verzace is a Flavor Designer cut, from the Pheno Addicts camp, and not a Wizard Trees creation as the jars often imply. Wizard Trees ran the release alongside Limited Trees and their name is the one that stuck to it worldwide, which happens often enough in this trade. The cross is Wavy over Bebesita, and if you unpack those two you land on Zkilato and Runtz on one side, Triangle Mintz and MAC on the other. That is a stack of the loudest terpene producers of the last decade in a single plant.

It earned the attention properly, too, taking first place for Best Terps and second overall at the California Zalympix. We also carry the Wizard Trees version as a Cali pack when it lands, which is worth knowing: the imported one and this Thai grow are the same genetics raised in completely different conditions, and they do not taste identical. The Nose

Sweet first, sharp second. What comes off the jar is candy, thick and almost artificial, the kind of smell that makes people ask what it is before they have seen the bud. A beat later the gas arrives underneath it and gives the whole thing its spine, and there is a soft creamy layer holding the two together so neither wins outright.

Round it off with a general fruity brightness and a solid sweet weight and you have the profile. Nugs are compact and rounded, pale green with a heavy coat of trichomes that mutes the colour underneath. Limonene is doing the bright work, Myrcene the roundness, and Caryophyllene is where that fuel edge is coming from.

The Smoke

Creamy and dense on the draw, the kind of smoke that sits in the mouth rather than rushing past. The candy is louder burnt than it is raw, which is unusual, and the gas turns from a smell into an actual taste on the exhale, closer to solvent than to diesel. In addition the finish stays sweet for a long time, so you keep tasting it while the first wave of the high is already arriving.

The High

The lift comes first and comes quickly: a bright Euphoric opening with a real Happy edge to it, the sort that makes the first twenty minutes feel lighter than they should. Nothing about it is racy, though, which is what separates this from the daytime cuts on the shelf.

After that it eases down instead of falling. Relaxed spreads through the limbs, a proper Body High settles in, and the whole thing turns Calming without demanding that you stop what you are doing. Push the dose and it will take you toward sleep, so the ceiling on this one is real. At a normal amount it is the definition of a mellow evening smoke that you can still hold a conversation through.

Who Should Try Verzace?

Buy this one if you want to relax without being switched off. It is the middle ground a lot of customers are actually looking for when they ask for something strong: heavy enough to feel it in the body, light enough that the evening carries on normally. It also has one of the more distinctive flavours we stock, so it suits anyone hunting terps rather than headline THC numbers.

Two things to keep in mind. Anxiety risk is medium and 29% is a lot for a first-timer, so newer smokers should go slowly.
