Zahemi
Zahemi is a balanced hybrid (55/45) born from Yahemi x ZaiZai. Running a parent-projected 22-26% THC, this Thai-grown cut is all sugared grapefruit and candy citrus on the nose, with an energetic, giggly lift that gets the morning moving instead of ending it. Best for morning and day.
Thai Weed grown in Thailand.
The Story Behind Zahemi
The name is the recipe. Zahemi is a portmanteau of its two parents, a selected Yahemi mother crossed to a ZaiZai male by Perfect Tree, the same breeding house behind our Banzai jar. Yahemi comes from Grandiflora Genetics, a Project 4516 x Melonatta selection with a reputation for giddy, high-voltage euphoria and a loud citrus nose. ZaiZai, meanwhile, is Perfect Tree’s own OZ Kush x Jet A stud, the Zkittlez-descended male they use to thread candy terps and vigour through a cross.
Zahemi is a newer release, so a bit of honesty up front: there are no lab sheets or crowd reviews on this one yet, and the finer points below lean on its well-documented parents plus the breeder’s own notes. The intent, at least, is beyond doubt. Perfect Tree pitches it squarely as wake and bake flower, sugary grapefruit first, energy right behind it, and this Thai-grown run wears that brief well.
The Nose
One crack of the lid and it is all grapefruit: pink, sugared, almost fizzy. A hard sweet candy layer rides on top while a juicy fruity streak, sharp citrus peel and a sour twist keep all that sugar from going flat. Dig deeper and a faint gassy hum surfaces from the Jet A great-grandparent. That juicy-bright profile is classic Limonene dominance, backed by a peppery floor of Caryophyllene, a soft floral touch of Linalool and a clean snap of Pinene on the finish. The buds run bright lime green with fat orange pistils under a sandy coat of resin, on the airier side of dense the way many Thai outdoor runs finish.
The Smoke
It smokes exactly how it smells, which is not always a given. The inhale is grapefruit soda, light and zesty, then the candy sweetness builds as the joint burns and that sour edge lands late on the exhale. The vapour stays bright and thin rather than creamy, easy on the throat, and it leaves a clean citrus aftertaste you will keep going back to sip at, like a cold juice on a hot morning.
The High
No creeping here. Zahemi shows up inside five minutes, an energetic snap behind the eyes that cuts through morning fog faster than the first coffee. Right from there a giggly, euphoric mood locks in, the kind that turns a quiet beach walk into a sociable one and makes dumb jokes land twice as hard. As it settles, an uplifting, creative current keeps ideas moving, and you stay happy and functional the whole way through. Only late in the ride does a light body high drift in, more of a soft landing than a lockdown. Save the couch for another jar; this one wants daylight.

Who Should Try Zahemi?
Morning people, and anyone trying to become one. If low mood, fatigue or plain old vacation laziness is the enemy, Zahemi is the jar you open before the day makes any demands, and it pairs beautifully with a swim, a hike or a long breakfast. One honest caveat: it runs hot for a daytime flower, with parent genetics in the mid-twenties THC, and the Yahemi side is known to race sensitive heads. So if you are anxiety-prone, keep the first session small, a few puffs rather than a whole joint, and see how it treats you. Seasoned daytime smokers, on the other hand, will find exactly the grapefruit-powered engine they were looking for.
