The Story Behind Super Lemon Haze

Super Lemon Haze is one of the most decorated strains in cannabis history. Developed by Green House Seed Co. in the Netherlands, it crossed Lemon Skunk with Super Silver Haze and immediately caught the attention of judges worldwide. It took first place at the High Times Cannabis Cup in both 2008 and 2009, back-to-back victories that cemented its status as a modern classic. It went on to win the IC420 Growers Cup in 2010 and the Seattle Cannabis Cup Medical Sativa category in 2014. High Times ranked it 13th in their list of the 25 Greatest Strains of All Time.

Super Silver Haze, one of the parents, was itself a three-time Cannabis Cup winner (1997, 1998, 1999), making Super Lemon Haze a champion born from champions. Lemon Skunk contributes the sharp citrus nose that gives the strain its identity. The combination of these two powerhouses produced something that defined what a modern sativa could be: energetic, flavourful, and unapologetically potent.

The Nose
