The Story Behind Zangbanger

Zangbanger is a collision between two genetic worlds, and Wizard Trees built it from the ground up. Founded by Terphogz, the team behind Zkittlez, Wizard Trees crossed Sherbanger 22 with Zangria to stack gas on fruit without losing either side. Sherbanger 22 is a Sunset Sherbet x Headbanger cross, with the “22” referring to the specific phenotype selected for resin production and terpene density. That parent brings creamy, gassy, peppery weight. On the other side, Zangria is Wizard Trees’ own Z-family creation, carrying the candy-sweet brightness that runs through every Zkittlez descendant.

Both parents trace back to the Zkittlez gene pool, so Zangbanger by Wizard Trees is a deliberate cross between the Z-family’s fruity heritage and the Sherbet world’s gassy backbone. The Sherbet side comes through loud on the nose and early in the smoke, while the Zangria sweetness builds through the mid-section and stays present all the way to the roach. As the original breeders, Wizard Trees selected this cross specifically for the way it transitions from bright candy to deep gas across the session. The Nose

Crack the seal and Citrus fills the room immediately, sharp and bright. Sweet follows right behind, candy-forward warmth from the Zangria side.
