Sour Walker Pheno 3
Sour Walker Pheno 3 is an indica-leaning hybrid (40/60) born from one of two crosses that pair a Sour with a Walker. The parents point to about 20-26% THC, and both versions land in the same place: sour lemon and grapefruit over diesel and damp earth, a bright, happy start, then a body that gets heavier by the minute. Best for night.
Thai Weed grown in Thailand.
The Story Behind Sour Walker
Two breeders arrived at this name separately, and our Thai-grown jar does not say which one it comes from. Pheno Finder Seeds crossed Albert Walker with Sour Bubble BX3. It kept a pheno for its long, dense flowers and what it calls a unique sweet and sour flavour. Mean Beanz went somewhere gassier. It paired Skywalker OG with Sour Diesel in a limited run of regular seeds. The breeder sums the result up in four words: heavy gassy sour kush. Both explain the name the same way, a Sour on one side and a Walker on the other. Yet the two lines are unrelated. Archive Seed Bank’s Walker Sours, an Original Diesel x Three-Two cross, is a different cultivar again.
Nobody can say which line grew Sour Walker Pheno 3. The 3 in its name is a pheno number, which picks out one plant, not the line behind it. So the profile here is read from the parents and from what the two lines share. It does not come from a lab sheet for our batch. Luckily, both land in much the same place on the nose, with sour citrus riding on diesel and wet earth. Where they split is the ending. The Pheno Finder seed listings promise a body calm that does not knock you out. However, the only smoker’s review we found under the name, written in 2021, describes a couch-lock that was hard to break. Mean Beanz’s own four words point the same way, so this page reads heavy.
The Nose
The name does not oversell it. A sharp citrus tang leads, closer to lemon peel and grapefruit than to orange juice, and a cloud of gassy diesel follows close behind. Under the fuel sits damp, earthy soil. Give it a second sniff and the softer side shows up: a sweet, fruity layer, the sweet-and-sour balance Pheno Finder bred for. At the very end, a faint herbal note lingers, almost like cold tea.
That sour sparkle on top owes a lot to Limonene. Meanwhile the dank weight underneath is Myrcene, and the peppery prickle riding along with the diesel is Caryophyllene. There is no lab profile for the strain, so the three come from the seed listings and the parents. If the buds follow Pheno Finder’s description, expect long, dense flowers rather than small round nugs.
The Smoke
Expect it to taste sharper than it smells. The citrus comes through bright and a little puckering on the inhale, then the gassy diesel takes over the exhale and leaves a dry, fuel-tinged finish. Halfway down the joint the earthy base thickens the smoke, while the sweet, fruity side fades to a hint. Pull hard and it can catch the back of the throat, so slower draws keep the sour side pleasant rather than harsh. As for the herbal tea note, it turns up late, on the last few pulls, if at all.
The High
Things begin on a high note. An uplifting rush and a euphoric buzz land in the first few minutes, and the mood turns easily happy. Enjoy that part, because the one review we found says the lift fades after the first hits. A calming warmth takes its place, a body high spreads through the shoulders and legs, and you settle in, properly relaxed. Then the weight keeps coming. By the peak the body is heavy, and getting up from the couch starts to feel like a project. Sleepiness sits in the middle, so it will not put you straight to bed. It will not send you out dancing either. Despite the name, this is no strain for walking anywhere: by the end, the couch wins.

Who Should Try Sour Walker Pheno 3?
Sour Walker Pheno 3 is for the smoker who loves a loud, sour nose and wants the evening to slow right down. It belongs to nights in, once the work is done. If stress, a heavy mood or chronic pain is weighing on you, the happy lift and the body weight cover both ends of the problem. It is also worth a look when nausea or a weak appetite gets in the way of dinner, or when sleep is slow to come. Keep in mind that the THC sits high and the anxiety risk is medium. So if your head tends to race, take one modest pull, wait fifteen minutes, and let the body side arrive before you decide on more. Whatever the bright opening suggests, this is not a daytime jar.
