The Story Behind Blue Zushi by The Tenco

Blue Zushi is The Tenco’s own creation, and one of the cuts that put them on the map. Around 2019 the California crew took Zkittlez, with its candy-sweet fruit, and crossed it into Kush Mints for the raw potency and creamy, minty gas. The result paired dessert-like flavour with serious strength, and it climbed fast on the exotic market: dense, deep-purple buds under a thick coat of resin, a nose that reads like a sweet shop.

Since then Blue Zushi has spread to grows around the world, including here in Thailand, but this is the original TenCo line in their Cali Pack. The exact pheno selection was never fully documented, as is common with scene cuts, though the genetics are well established: Zkittlez crossed with Kush Mints. This pack comes straight from The Tenco.

The Nose

It fills the room the second you open the jar. A wave of Candy sweetness hits first, sugary and almost artificial in its intensity, then the Blueberry rolls in ripe and jammy, like crushed berries in a bowl. A thick Creamy layer wraps around all of it, smooth and rich, and breaking a nug open lets the Gassy undertone punch through, sharp enough to keep the sweetness from going one-note. The bright top end is Limonene, the peppery warmth underneath is Caryophyllene, and a soft floral edge from Linalool rounds it off. The buds are compact and deep purple, almost black in places, packed with sticky white trichomes and bright orange pistils.

The Smoke

Thick, milky smoke that coats the palate on the first pull. The candy and blueberry land immediately on the inhale, sweet and dense, then the creamy quality takes over on the exhale, almost buttery, with the gassy bite trailing on the back of the tongue. It expands in the chest more than you expect, so you feel how deep you pulled a second later. Slow, oily burn with a thick ring of resin building on the paper as it goes.

The High

It starts with a brief Uplifting warmth in the head, a short window of brightness before the indica takes the wheel. Within ten minutes a thick wave of Relaxation rolls through the body, loosening every muscle it reaches, and the Calming side deepens steadily, quieting mental noise. From there a real Sleepy heaviness creeps in and the full Body Relaxation sets in, warm and weighted, like sinking into a hot bath you do not want to leave.
