Blue Zushi by The Tenco
Blue Zushi by The Tenco is the pack that started the Zushi line: Zkittlez candy and dark blueberry over a cold, gassy mint base, with a body high that does not stop where you expect.
Blue Zushi by The Tenco
Blue Zushi by The Tenco is an indica-leaning hybrid (40/60) born from Zkittlez x Kush Mints 11. At 26-29% THC, it is candy and blueberry over a cold, gassy mint base, and it is one of the two heaviest things we stock. Best for day / night, though it belongs to the evening.
Original Cali Pack by The Tenco.
The Story Behind Blue Zushi
This is the strain that built a family. The Tenco put Zkittlez over Kush Mints 11 back in 2019 and the result did not stay a single cultivar for long: the Zushi line grew out of it, Yellow Zushi and the rest following the same cross, and Blue Zushi stayed the one everybody names first. The reason is visual as much as chemical. It throws deep purple bracts under a frost so pale it reads blue, and that look travelled further than any description could.
The genetics explain both halves of what it does. Zkittlez brings the loud fruit candy it is famous for, while Kush Mints 11 supplies the cold mint edge, the gas, and most of the weight. The Tenco built the brand on pairing European growing discipline with California flavour, and this is the cut where that shows most clearly. What you are holding is their own pack, so this is the cross as its breeder intended it, not a reinterpretation.
The Nose
The fruit gets there first, but only just. Candy is the immediate read, sugary and loud, with a dark blueberry sitting inside it that smells more like jam than fresh fruit. Half a second later the Kush Mints half arrives and changes the whole picture: a cold, clean edge and a solid gas that gives the sweetness something to push against.
Underneath there is a thick creamy weight that ties it together. The buds are the selling point on their own: dense, deep purple through the bracts, and coated heavily enough that the colour underneath comes through as a haze. Limonene leads, Caryophyllene carries the fuel and the pepper, and Linalool adds the soft floral edge that stops it going sharp.
The Smoke
Dense and oily, with more expansion than you expect from something this sweet. The candy holds through the inhale, then the mint turns up as a cooling sensation rather than a taste, and the gas owns the exhale completely. At the same time the cream keeps everything rounded, so it never scrapes. Ash burns pale and the joint keeps its ring, which is what a pack at this price should do.
The High
The onset is gentler than the THC suggests, and that is the trap. Uplifting comes first and lasts maybe fifteen minutes, pleasant and clear, and it is easy to decide during that window that you can handle more. Then Relaxed arrives properly and it does not stop where you expect it to.
What follows is Calming shading straight into Heavy: limbs first, then the will to stand up. This is a 5 out of 5 on our intensity scale and it earns it. In short, treat the first quarter of an hour as a preview rather than as the strain.

Who Should Try Blue Zushi by The Tenco?
Experienced smokers who want the real thing. Blue Zushi by The Tenco is a breeder pack of a strain most people have only had as a reinterpretation, and if you have been curious about the Zushi line this is where to start. The flavour justifies the price on its own; the potency is a bonus you should respect.
It is not a jar for someone new. Anxiety risk is medium and the body high arrives fast enough to be alarming if you were expecting a fruit strain to be gentle. Medically it is asked for on chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia, and it handles all three, mostly by making everything else optional for a few hours.
