Zoap, the parent strain, was created by Deo Farms out of Oakland, California, from a cross of Rainbow Sherbet and Pink Guava. Rainbow Sherbet itself descends from Sunset Sherbet (Girl Scout Cookies x Pink Panties), making it a deep dessert-lineage strain. Now, Rainbow Zoap takes a specific phenotype, Rainbow Sherbet 11, and crosses it back with the Zoap it helped create. The result amplifies the sherbet sweetness while the Zoap genetics contribute that distinctive soapy, floral edge that made the original so memorable.

Zoap exploded in popularity across California’s craft market in 2023 and 2024, earning a reputation for its unusual flavour profile and strong euphoric effects.
