The Story Behind Zeven Up

Zeven Up is one of 710 Labs‘ phenotype hunts out of the Sour Dubb x Rick Jamez #28 cross, and the #8 cut is the one that stuck. 710 Labs has been running solventless-grade flower since 2010, first in Colorado, then expanding into California in 2016, and their internal hunts tend to be ruthless. Out of dozens of phenos pulled from this cross, #8 was the one that nailed the citrus-gas-soda triangle the team was after.

The naming is on purpose. Sour Dubb brings sharp lemon-lime fuel from the OG Kush family, while Rick Jamez (a Rick James x Headbanger cut) layers in candy-soda sweetness. Cross them, hunt for the loudest expression, and you get a flower that genuinely smells like cracking open a cold 7-Up over crushed citrus rinds. The Zeven Up flower has shown up across the 710 Labs solventless lineup as both water hash and persy sauce, which says a lot about how clean the terpene profile runs.

The Nose
