The Story Behind Glitter Bomb

Glitter Bomb, also known as El Chivo 5, was bred by Compound Genetics in collaboration with NorCal Genetics in 2022. The cross paired a Grape Gas 10 male with an OGKB Blueberry Headband female, combining two of the most flavour-dense genetics in the modern game. Grape Gas 10 is Compound Genetics’ own creation, a selected phenotype from the Grape Pie and Jet Fuel Gelato cross that Cookies commercialized. OGKB Blueberry Headband is NorCal Genetics’ contribution, bringing OG Kush Breath together with Blueberry Headband for dense structure and deep purple colouration.

The result is a strain that lives up to its name: sparkling trichomes over dark purple buds, with a terpene profile that smells like crushed grapes soaked in fuel.
