The Story Behind Dawg Walker
Dawg Walker is the real Dogwalker OG, a clone-only cut that has been passed around the West Coast for over fifteen years. The genetics are Albert Walker OG crossed with Chemdawg 91, a pairing that put it on the map for its sledgehammer gas and its reputation as a connoisseur’s OG. This is not a new hype strain, it is an old-guard heavy hitter that earned its name the slow way.
This run comes from Green Dawg in collaboration with Feel Good LA, who held onto the clone and grew it out properly. Expect everything the Dogwalker name promises: pungent chemical fuel, a fresh pine snap, and a stone that puts you down. It is nightcap flower in the truest sense, the kind of jar you reserve for the end of the day.
The Nose
Crack the jar and the gas hits hard, pungent and chemical, the kind that fills the room. A sharp diesel note rides with it, then a fresh pine snap cuts through, bright against all that fuel. Underneath sits a skunky, earthy base with a spicy edge and a touch of woody depth. This is an old-school OG nose, all funk and fuel rather than candy. The Caryophyllene drives that peppery spice, the Myrcene sets up the couch, and the Limonene and Linalool soften the edges. The buds are dense and dark, coated in a greasy frost.
The Smoke
The inhale is pure gas and diesel, heavy and oily, an unmistakably OG smoke. The pine comes through on the exhale to keep it from getting one-note, and the skunky funk lingers at the back of the throat. It pulls thick and coats the chest, the flavour staying fuel-forward all the way down. Not a delicate smoke by any measure, more a statement of intent: this is grown-up gas for people who like it loud.
The High
It opens with a deceptively happy, grinning calm, a brief window where you feel light before the weight arrives. Then the indica drops. A calming, relaxed wave rolls through the body and builds into a full body high, and from there it turns properly heavy. The hungry kicks in around the same time, so line up snacks before you commit. With sleepiness running high, this is a one-way trip to the pillow, the classic Dogwalker couch-and-crash. Do not expect to be productive afterward.

Who Should Try Dawg Walker by Green Dawg?
This is a nightcap for OG lovers and heavy sleepers. The genetics are built for sedation, so it is a genuine fit for insomnia, chronic pain, and an appetite that needs coaxing, and the calm onset helps melt off a stressful day. Anxiety risk is low, which is a bonus for a strain this strong, but the sleepiness is no joke. Newer smokers should go slow and everyone should save it for after the last task of the day. If you miss real, funky, clone-only OG gas, Dawg Walker is the one to grab.
