White Truffle is not a standard cross. It is a specific phenotype of Gorilla Butter, the Peanut Butter Breath x GG4 hybrid from Fresh Coast Genetics in Michigan. When the breeder backcrossed Gorilla Butter with itself around 2019, one phenotype stood out from the rest. Where the parent strain leaned nutty and earthy, this pheno amplified everything: denser trichome coverage, deeper sedation, and a savoury, almost truffle-like aroma that inspired the name.

White Truffle quickly outpaced its parent in popularity. BeLeaf in Oklahoma helped push it into the mainstream, but the genetics spoke for themselves.
