Zuhead by The Tenco
Zuhead by The Tenco is the Zushi drop that arrived without a spec sheet: a die-cut Catch The Wave pack at 3.5g. Here is what the bag tells you, and what we will not invent.
Zuhead by The Tenco
Zuhead by The Tenco is a 3.5g Cali pack from the Zushi side of the house, and one of the rare drops the brand released with no spec sheet behind it. No lineage on record, no lab panel, no terpene list. So this page sticks to what the bag itself tells you, plus what we can honestly say about the people who made it.
Original Cali Pack by The Tenco.
The Story Behind Zuhead by The Tenco
This is a co-branded release, and the front says so. The ZUSHI logo sits bottom left with the four mascot faces underneath it, the THE TEN CO mark sits right next to it, and a red banner runs across the top reading CATCH THE WAVE. Zushi is the family the brand built its name on, and by now we have carried most of it: Blue Zushi, Zushi Nozu, Black Zushi x 424. Zuhead belongs to that world. Which cut it actually is, the brand never said.
There is one more line printed on the front, boxed in red: DON’T BE FOOLED BY ZUSHI LOOKALIKES. A brand that prints an anti counterfeit warning on its own bag is telling you something about how much fake Zushi packaging is circulating, and it is worth knowing when you buy this line anywhere on the island.
What you will not find is a data sheet. The Tenco published nothing measurable for this one. The two QR codes on the back open Instagram profiles rather than a certificate of analysis, and the strain databases carry the name and stop there. One warning while you go looking: a different breeder sells a well documented “Z Head” that has nothing to do with this bag. Different house, different cross, so do not read that profile onto this one.
What the Pack Tells You
It is a die-cut mylar bag cut around the artwork itself, not a square pouch with a sticker slapped on. The character is a round white head with gloved hands clamped over its mouth, eyes bulging, smoke curling off both sides, and a Hokusai style wave breaking over the top with a piece of nigiri riding it. “ZUHEAD” is hand lettered across the forehead. Down in the corner you get the California cannabis warning triangle and the net weight, 3.5G (0.123 OZ), with the artist’s signature just above them. People keep these bags, and that is half the point of the series.
What We Do Not Know
Everything else, and we would rather write that down than fill the gap with a guess. No parent cross, no THC figure, no terpene panel, no documented effect profile. We went looking properly, breeder sources, review sites, grow logs, the brand’s own channels, and came back with a name and a price.
That has one visible consequence in the shop. With no strain sheet behind it, this pack does not show up when you filter our menu by flavour, effect or time of day, and you will not find a Strain Card full of numbers below. Meanwhile the rest of the Zushi line is fully written up, so the gap is specific to this drop rather than a shortcut we take. As soon as the brand publishes a panel, or enough of you tell us what it actually does, this page gets its missing half.
Who Should Try Zuhead by The Tenco?
This one is for people who already know the house. You buy The Tenco because the last few bags were right, and you want the artwork as much as what is inside it. On top of that, a die-cut collab pack is a different kind of purchase from a labelled jar, so treat it as one.
If you need to know exactly what you are getting before you open a pack, take a documented cut instead. Zushi Nozu and Pizen both come with the full write up, lineage included. And if you have smoked this one, tell the budtender what you got out of it. That is exactly how the rest of this page gets written.
