The Story Behind Thizzle Wiggle

Half of this cross is well documented and half of it is not. RudeBoi OG comes from Archive Seed Bank and is about as OG as OG gets: Irene OG crossed into a backcrossed Face Off OG, two heavyweight Kush phenotypes stacked on top of each other for weight and resin. Blue Cherrie, the other parent, has no credited breeder we can find, which is common enough for a cut that circulates by clone rather than by seed.

The name is Bay Area slang and it tells you the plan. Thizzle is a word for the goofy, giddy part of a high, and the wiggle is what happens afterwards. That is genuinely how it plays: the RudeBoi weight arrives late and takes over completely. Ours is a Thai grow of the line, so the phenotype behind this jar is not on record, but the sequence is unmistakable.

The Nose

There is mint in here, and it is the last thing you expect. It sits on top like something cold and slightly medicinal, and it gets louder the further into the jar you go. Under it the fruit does the heavy lifting: fresh cherry, a darker blueberry and a sharp lemon edge that keeps the whole thing from going syrupy. There is a definite sour streak running through it.

Buds are chunky and squat with deep colour, the kind that feel heavier than they look. Myrcene is in charge here, and it shows in the weight of the smell as much as in the effect. Limonene supplies the citrus flash, Caryophyllene a peppery undercurrent, and Humulene the dry, hoppy earthy finish.

The Smoke

Sweet and sour at the same time, which is a harder trick than it sounds. The cherry comes through cleanly on the inhale and the lemon sharpens everything on the way out, while that mint note turns into a cooling sensation at the back of the throat rather than a flavour. It burns slowly and the smoke is dense. Meanwhile the sweet side keeps building, so by the end of a joint it tastes closer to jam than to fruit.

The High

The first fifteen minutes are pure mood. Happy arrives almost immediately, closely followed by Giggly and Uplifting, and for a while you would swear you had picked a daytime strain by mistake. People talk during this part. It is easily the most fun stretch of the smoke.

Then the RudeBoi side collects its debt. Relaxed starts in the legs and works upward, Calming takes the volume down, and within the hour it turns properly Heavy. It also brings Hungry along the way, which is worth planning for. Sleepiness on this one is high and it means it: this is a strain that ends the day rather than filling it.

Who Should Try Thizzle Wiggle?

Buy Thizzle Wiggle if you want to laugh for half an hour and then sleep properly. It is one of the better options in the shop for anyone whose evening usually ends with lying awake, and the fact that it is genuinely enjoyable on the way down separates it from the flat sedative cuts.

Anxiety risk is low, so it is forgiving for a strain this strong, and newer smokers tend to get along with it as long as they respect the timing.
